CLASS SIZE

A class can be canceled if less than 6 students register for a particular class.  The maximum size of  a class is determined by age and the type of class.


 STUDENT BEHAVIOR

The Kosier Studio hopes all students love to dance, but we know that does not mean all students want to take classes in dance.  If a student does not seem interested in class, interferes with the participation of the other students or causes disruption in the class, the student’s registration will be canceled at the end of the month.  There will be no refunds on registration or past monthly tuition.

 

MANDATORY CLASSWEAR

  • Girls:  black leotards and tan tights
  • Boys: T- shirt and shorts
  • Dance skirts, shorts, and dance sweaters are available at the studio and may be worn over classwear.
  • NO skirts or shorts below the knee
  • NO  T-shirts on girls
  • NO jeans on girls or boys
  • Hair should be pulled away from the face and secured with barrettes or hair ties

 

MANDATORY CLASS SHOES

  • Students are required to wear in class the shoes listed with the class schedule
  • The Kosier Studio will again offer new and used shoes
  • Students may bring in their used shoes to sell.
  • Students may purchase used shoes or order new shoes throughout the year

 

STUDENT ASSISTANCE & CLASS VIEWING

  • Dancing Bears – have seats available in the classroom for parents.  Parents are asked to respect the students’ class and refrain from talking on a cell phone in the classroom.
  • All other dance classes may be viewed from the waiting room on the class monitor.  At the end of the month, classes will be open for viewing in the classroom by parents.

 

STUDENT PERFORMANCES

The Kosier Studio will be performing around the community during the holiday season at nursing homes and other community events and will be presenting a Spring Recital in May.   Dancers are invited to purchase a costume and perform in these shows.   The Kosier Studio is often asked to perform at different events in the area.  Dancers are invited to take part in these performances.
